YBS FloorQuilt Insulation is a multi-layered insulation blanket, specifically designed for use on floors.

FloorQuilt is commonly used for refurbishment / new build projects. It is a perfect product for when height is an issue, but you wish to improve the thermal performance of your floor.

This product can be and is commonly used alongside underfloor heating systems too. When installed alongside, it reflects the heat from the system back up in to the room.

YBS FloorQuilt Insulation is just 6mm product which is equivalent to approx 18mm PIR Insulation (Kingspan/Celotex). This material can also be used in multiple layers to increase the performance.

The product is a 15m² roll, which is 1.5m x 10m

Due to it’s 13 layers, the product will also eliminate the risk of thermal bridging. So you have a continuous layer, we would also advise to tape and seal with our Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape.

Going through building Regulations?

FloorQuilt is certified, so if you are going through building regulations you can use this product. Depending on the U-value that you need to achieve, you would either use FloorQuilt stand alone or alongside rigid insulation.
