Insulated Shipping Container Liners
Our Insulated Shipping Container Liners offer a cost-effective solution to protect your temperature-sensitive goods. The Insulated Shipping Container Liners can be used to protect goods in static containers during storage or shipment.
We supply our Container Liners to a variety of industries including the storage, pharmaceutical, food and drinks industries. The Liners are not restricted to use in these industries – they are suitable for all temperature-sensitive goods. They are commonly used to protect goods from condensation.
The Insulated Shipping Container Liners are easy to fit as we supply you with Insulation material that is made to measure. To assist in the installation process, the Insulation material also comes with adhesive backing and also the tape used to create a vapour control layer.
We supply our Shipping Container Liner Kits in two different materials; ThermaPack Ultra Double and EcoQuilt Expert. Please see the below details noting the differences between the two.
ThermaPack Ultra Double – Storage Material
- Equivalent to 55mm of Polystyrene
- Keeps products at an ambient temperature
- Only 4mm thick, so this will save on space within the container
- Acts as a High Performing Vapour Control Layer
- Best-selling solution
- Prevents condensation
- Easy fitting process
EcoQuilt Expert – Container Conversion Material
- Equivalent to 75mm of Polystyrene
- 25% higher performing material, than that provided within the ThermaPack Ultra Double Kit
- Ideal for those who ship goods to/from extremely cold or warm climates
- Ideal for prolonged travel time
- Ideal for greatly sensitive cargo
- Only 4mm thick, so this will save on space within the container
- Easy to fit
The Container Liner Kits can help reduce condensation due to their:
Vapour Barrier: Taping and sealing all overlaps and perimeter of the product enables it to work as an effective vapour control layer, stopping the passage of moisture.
Thermal Performance
The high thermal properties of the insulation reduce the thermal/cold bridging effect, from one side of the container to the other.
Reflective Thermal Cavities
Maintaining a cavity between the insulation and the steel container utilises radiant heat, not only increasing the overall thermal performance of the product, by further reducing the effect of thermal/cold bridging.
Our Container Liner Kits greatly reduce the risk of condensation, however, the level/source of condensation should be assessed before installation. Applications with high levels of moisture may require mechanical ventilation to reduce the risk of condensation. Roof-only applications will only work by reflecting cold / heat away from the roof only. We always recommend Insulating the full container.
