What is Multifoil Insulation?

Multifoil Insulation products are multi-layered blankets consisting of aluminium foils, metalized pet foils, recycled wadding and PE Foams. All these layers are stitched together are delivered in large rolls, averaging a thickness of around 30mm. Multifoil Insulation products can vary from 3 layers right up to 25 layers. Most multifoils are made up of a high content of recycled materials, compared to popular loft rolls and mineral wools.

Multifoil Insulation materials are extremely versatile and can be used in virtually all applications. A popular area to insulate with multifoils is in a loft space, either a sloping rafter or ceiling level. It can be fitted on solid brick or block walls aswell as timber frames. Multifoils are widely used on both new builds and renovation projects.
