SuperQuilt Lite

SuperQuilt Lite is a thinner version of the original as it’s only 32mm thick and is made up of 9 layers of wadding and true aluminium foil. This Multifoil still provides excellent thermal properties and is easier to install if you’re completing a DIY job. SuperQuilt lite is very adaptable you can use it in many areas of your home, however, it’s not certified like the original SuperQuilt.

We have recently started stocking SuperQuilt Trade. It’s a great alternative to the original SuperQuilt since it has the same amount of layers of foil and wadding. However the only difference between the two is that SuperQuilt Trades foil isn’t made form True Aluminium Foil. It still has great insulation properties however not as high as the original SuperQuilt.
What’s the Original SuperQuilt Made From?
True Aluminium Foils serve as the outer and inner layers of SuperQuilt’s 19 itch-free layers. Recycled waddings, PE foams, and other reflective foils make up the remaining 17 layers.
Does SuperQuilt Require PPE?
No masks, PPE, or gloves are necessary when installing SuperQuilt because it doesn’t produce any poisonous gases or harmful fibers when cut or installed.
Is SuperQuilt Fire Resistant?
SuperQuilt has a Class E Euro Fire Certificate SuperQuilt Lites certificate is Class F. The genuine metal exterior layers of SuperQuilt are flameproof, and the wadding inside isn’t completely fire-proof. If a bare flame gets in contact with the insulation it will just smolder rather than spread.
What’s the Difference Between SuperQuilt and SuperFoil?
SuperFoil uses metalized foils and has a lower Fire classification Grade. SuperQuilt is fully certified and made in the UK, it’s a luxury product with true alumintium foil.
Does SuperQuilt Adhere to Building Codes?
SuperQuilt will meet construction regulations on its own however may not be enough to meet a certain U-Value on its own in some applications.
